Construction Management/Office management
- November 2005 to present—The Lightfoot Group LLC representing Cuisines Laurier cabinetry, Spekva wooden worktops, Stone Impressions tile, John Boos carts and wooden countertops, Graber and Hunter Douglas window treatments.
- Spring 2010--Currently working with the City of Aspen Asset Department on the product specification, interior design and construction management for the Sagewood condo remodel, Aspen.
- Fall 2009--Owner’s representative and interior design for the remodel of Midland #6, Aspen.
- 2008--Owner’s representative for the remodel of 1423 Crystal Lake Road (Aspen Club Townhome).
- 2007-2008--Worked with Contract Appliance Center (now Glenwood Appliance Center), 3760 Highway 82, Glenwood Springs to create Cuisines Laurier cabinetry vignettes to display nine luxury appliance lines.
- Designed cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, entertainment and beverage centers for 20 plus clients; worked with the installers to completion of the project to owner’s satisfaction.
- September 2002-November 2005—Snaidero Aspen
- Worked with Custom Home Environments to coordinate the permits, design and construction for a commercial space for the Snaidero-Aspen kitchen showroom.
- Showroom manager and kitchen designer.
- 2003-2005—Owner’s representative and construction management for Deerbrook A-5, Dreimann condo; Queen Victoria #301, Steinman condo; Queen Victoria #104, Herman condo; Seasons Four #133, Zedler condo.
- June 1999-September 2000—Aspen Equestrian Estates
- Worked with Land Design Partnership, High Country Engineers, M&M Construction, US West, AT&T Cable Services, Holy Cross, KN Energy to complete the infrastructure including sewer, water & shallow utilities for a 47 homesite PUD for Aspen Equestrian Estates LLC. Worked with Contractors & Land Planners on approval processes with Garfield County Planning and Zoning and the Board of County Commissioners.
- General manager for Aspen Equestrian Center, a 32 stall horse facility associated with the 47 homesite PUD; Budgeted for operations, payroll and client billing.
- January 1994-May 1996—Mirabella Restaurant (now Rustique Restaurant)
- Worked with Todd Habermann Construction on approval processes from City of Aspen Building Department, Historical Society and Commercial Core, Pitkin County Planning & Zoning for the commercial construction of Mirabella Restaurant.
- Effective management of project details, controlling costs, evaluating qualifications & bidding prices, negotiating contractual agreements, allocating and managing project resources, and adhering to an optimized schedule. Computer input and financial reports for the construction and interior design implementing CYMA accounting software.
- 1991-1993 Owner’s representative, construction manager, comptroller and assistant to the interior decorator from Italy for renovation of Eddie Cheever’s Starwood residence
- 1990-1998—ASPCOL N.V., Bricol N.V., Starwood
- Assistant to the owner’s representative, Sundt Corporation, during the construction of Hala Ranch for HRH Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the Ambassador from Saudi Arabia to the United States.
- Purchasing agent for Hala Ranch, Bricol Bear Cabin, 2 guest houses; Coordinated the production and design of illustrative graphics and printing for Hala Ranch, Bear Cabin and Cranwell Arms.
