Project Overview
This single-family residence in Willits represents Lightfoot's most disciplined expression of mountain minimalism — a home where architecture and interiors share a single, sustained point of view. The brief called for a pared-back palette: no pattern, no ornament, only form, material, and light.
Every surface decision was made in service of the architecture. Wood grain veneer runs from kitchen to butler's pantry as a continuous ribbon. Quartzite appears in the primary bath and as a thin sill detail at the window seats.
